Wikivoyage describes Ibiza Town as the historical capital, split between Dalt Vila, the upper town, and the Eixample, and notes the walled fortress and a pedestrianised port. Wikipedia says the Renaissance walls of the old town were awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. Most ferries from the mainland and other Balearic islands use the Port of Ibiza, according to Wikivoyage.
Wikivoyage describes Playa d'en Bossa as Ibiza's longest beach and a resort with hotels, bars, restaurants and nightclubs and says it presents itself as an alternative to San Antonio. It adds that sailings to Formentera leave from Playa d'en Bossa as well as from Ibiza Town port and Figueretas.

Wikivoyage describes Sant Antoni, also known as San Antonio, on the west coast as known for its nightlife, and says some ferries from the mainland end here. It also notes direct routes to Formentera from the port, and an airport bus route to Sant Antoni that avoids changing in Ibiza Town.
Wikivoyage calls Santa Eulària an authentic Ibizan town, more suited to families and with less nightlife than the other towns. An airport bus route links it with the airport, according to Wikivoyage.
Wikivoyage describes Es Canar as a resort known for its sunrise, hippy markets and its surroundings, within the Santa Eulària des Riu municipality. The Ibiza tourist board says the Hippy Market at Punta Arabí, in Es Canar, is the oldest market on the island. An airport bus route runs through it.

Wikivoyage calls Portinatx a horseshoe-bay family resort with small shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and a sandy beach, in the Sant Joan de Labritja municipality in the north of the island.
Wikivoyage says Ibiza has one main airport, in the south of the island, with direct European flights in summer and services in winter typically limited to other Balearic islands and mainland Spain. Aena's airport page has sections on car hire, bus and taxi services. Wikivoyage lists airport bus routes to Ibiza Town, to Sant Antoni, and via Santa Eulària, Es Canar and Cala Nova, and points to the Ibizabus site. It also lists an official airport taxi rank and coach transfers from the coach park.
For Formentera, Wikivoyage says sailings are often in the early morning and late afternoon or evening, and lists AquaBus from Ibiza Town Port, Playa d'en Bossa and Figueretas, Baleària with fast crossings of 30 minutes and slower ones of an hour from Ibiza Town Port, and Mediterránea Pitiusa with fast crossings of 25 to 30 minutes from Ibiza Town. Wikivoyage advises booking car hire early for July and August.
Wikivoyage says supermarkets and small shops are found in Portinatx, and the board says the Hippy Market at Punta Arabí in Es Canar is the island's oldest market. Wikivoyage lists airport bus routes to Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni and the east coast. For longer bookings, see serviced apartments for relocation.

Wikivoyage says summer brings charter and low-fare flights, particularly from the UK, Italy and Germany, while winter services are more limited. The island's tourist board says Ibiza can be enjoyed all year: summer suits beaches and watersports, spring and autumn suit hiking, cycling and local food, and winter is quiet and cultural. It also describes the Ses Salines natural park as one of the most valuable natural spaces of the Balearic Islands.
Wikipedia notes that Ibiza and neighbouring Formentera are called the Pine Islands. This page covers the whole island, with areas from the south coast to the north.
