Parañaque is a city on the southern edge of Metro Manila, on the shore of Manila Bay, and Ninoy Aquino International Airport lies between it and neighbouring Pasay. Aparthotels and serviced apartments work well here because many guests are passing through or staying for work: a flat close to the airport suits short stopovers, while a kitchen and extra room help families and visitors who want a base for a week or more.

Entertainment City is a leisure district along Manila Bay in the Bay City area, where Wikipedia says several large integrated resorts are based. It suits visitors who want to be on the waterfront, close to the airport and the PITX transport hub.
Stays in or near Entertainment City and Bay City
The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, or PITX, is a transport hub at 1 Kennedy Road, Asiaworld, Bay City. It handles provincial bus routes to Cavite, Batangas and the Bicol Region among others, and connects at its third floor to the PITX station on LRT-1. It sits near the airport, with airport shuttle gates.
Baclaran, in the north of the city, is described by Wikipedia as home to a large number of dry goods stores and one of the busiest markets in the country. The older LRT-1 Baclaran station serves the district, although Wikipedia places it in Pasay near the city boundary, so it is a starting point for rail journeys north through Manila.
Ninoy Aquino International Airport lies between Pasay and Parañaque, about 7 km south of Manila proper according to Wikipedia. Terminal 1 is accessible via Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Parañaque,. A stay here keeps transfers short for early departures and late arrivals.
BF Homes is a large residential area in the city's second district, which Wikipedia says holds eight barangays in the eastern half of the city. It lies south-east of the other areas listed here, so it suits longer stays in a residential setting rather than a short stopover.
Ninoy Aquino International Airport lies between Pasay and Parañaque, and NAIA Road connects it with Roxas Boulevard and the Manila-Cavite Expressway. LRT-1 now runs south into Parañaque: the Cavite Extension Phase 1 opened in November 2024 with five new stations, Redemptorist-Aseana, MIA Road, PITX, Ninoy Aquino Avenue and Dr. Santos, and PITX station is connected to the terminal at its third floor.
PITX brings together provincial buses, with about 100,000 passengers a day on average according to Wikipedia, and airport shuttle services use dedicated gates there. The rail stations at PITX and Baclaran are the simplest way to travel north without relying on road traffic.
For a longer stay, choose between the bayside and the residential south. Entertainment City and the Bay City area sit along the waterfront, while BF Homes is a large residential area. La Huerta is the location of the DAMPA seaside market, and Baclaran is known for its flea market.
Check how you will reach work or the airport before you book, and consider the LRT-1 and PITX connections. Our relocation guide explains what is usually included in a serviced apartment, which helps when you are planning a month or more.
Parañaque has a tropical climate. Wikipedia describes a wet season from July to September and a dry season from October to June, with annual rainfall of 1,822 mm and an average daily maximum of 34.4 degrees Celsius.
Because the average daily maximum is so high, the main question is rain rather than cold. Check forecasts if you plan to travel in the wet months, especially for airport transfers.
The city covers 46.57 square kilometres, has about 703,000 residents and is divided into 16 barangays. It borders Pasay to the north, Taguig to the north-east, Muntinlupa to the south-east and Las Piñas to the south-west. For the wider country, see the Philippines hub, and compare nearby Pasay, Manila and Makati.
Of the 7 properties here, 4 list a laptop-friendly workspace, 5 include some form of housekeeping and 7 have a 24-hour front desk. Each property page has a facts box, so you can compare apartments before you book.
2 properties list a full kitchen and 5 only a kitchenette, so check the room type if you plan to cook more than simple meals.
Where room sizes are published, the median apartment here is 45 m².
