Alicante is a coastal city with a castle, a palm-lined seafront and a beach in the town itself, and aparthotels and serviced apartments in Alicante suit the family holidays and longer winter or remote-working stays it attracts. A kitchen lets you use the central market, a separate living area gives more room than a hotel bedroom, and many apartment buildings sit close to the beach. Our guide explains what an aparthotel is.
