The C-1 commuter line connects central Málaga with Fuengirola, serving Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport on the way; Fuengirola and Los Boliches are the two stations in the town. Wikivoyage describes the light-rail journey from the airport as about 35 minutes with Fuengirola as the last stop, and the town as roughly 25 km from the airport by road.
Within the town, local blue buses serve the centre and red Avanza buses run longer routes along the Costa del Sol, according to Wikivoyage. The town itself is walkable.
