Noosaville is a riverside suburb of Noosa on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, and aparthotels and serviced apartments are a natural fit: the tourist board describes family-friendly holiday accommodation close to restaurants and river hire along Gympie Terrace, so a kitchen, laundry and room for a family can sit within a short walk of the water. It suits week-long stays built around the river and day trips to the beach and national park.

Gympie Terrace runs beside the Noosa River, with restaurants, boutiques and cafes that overlook the water and a 2 km grassy foreshore with picnic spots and shade. River hire businesses here rent pontoon boats, jet skis, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and the ferry and river cruises leave from the riverfront.

Once you are here, Translink buses serve the Sunshine Coast and run to Hastings Street and Noosa Main Beach, the restaurants and shops along Gympie Terrace in Noosaville, Sunshine and Peregian Beaches, Tewantin, the Eumundi Markets and Noosa Civic. The Noosa Ferry has seven stops along the river and runs from 8 am to 6 pm, every 45 minutes, between Noosa Marina in Tewantin and the Hastings Street jetty. Water taxis operate along the river and Noosa Sound. Bike paths link the region and bikes, e-bikes and electric scooters can be hired, and taxi ranks are at Hastings Street and Noosa Junction.
Land in the north of the suburb is predominantly residential. The foreshore, ferry and bike paths make it possible to manage without a car: the tourist board promotes bus, ferry, bike and walking options as a way to leave the car (and parking stress) behind. Noosa Civic is a major shopping centre, the tourist board mentions local delis for picnic baskets, and the Noosa Shire Council has a library on Wallace Drive in Noosaville.
For local flavour, the tourist board lists fresh seafood, takeaway fish and chips, organic markets and craft breweries a little way back from the river. Our relocation guide and aparthotel vs hotel guide can help you decide how to book a longer stay.
