Getting around Yomra

Wikivoyage says Trabzon Airport has domestic connections from Istanbul (IST and SAW), Ankara, Izmir and Adana, and flights from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. It also says a Havaş shuttle bus runs downtown, otherwise you walk to the coastal highway for a dolmuş. Wikipedia describes the airport as near the city of Trabzon, in the eastern Black Sea region. Wikivoyage adds that Trabzon has no railway and no scheduled Black Sea ferries.

Wikivoyage describes the six-lane coastal highway and says a swarm of dolmuşes ply through the city and out to the province's other towns. The dolmuş garage for out-of-town services is on Çömlekçi Caddesi beside the coastal highway, 200 m south-east of Trabzon's Meydan square.

Living in Yomra for longer

For a longer stay, Wikivoyage mentions a large outlet mall in Yomra, 10 km east of the Trabzon city centre, and lists Kalecik Beach 25 km east and Akçakale Beach 24 km west as other coastal options. When to visit Yomra

Wikipedia classes Yomra's climate as humid subtropical (Köppen Cfa). Wikivoyage's Trabzon guide says the mountains draw clouds and rain, summers are warm and humid with frequent light showers, autumn is the wettest time of year, winters are near-freezing and spring is dry and mild.
